Dearest grandchild,

Today’s letter will be about Jim Caviezel and his latest movie Sound of Freedom. Perhaps you will remember that Jim played Jesus in Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ. His latest movie, Sound of Freedom, was released on July 4, 2023 and deals with the subject of human trafficking. While accurate statistics are hard to come by, the State Department estimates that there are 27.6 millions victims of human trafficking world wide. The annual income from this Satanic activity is $150 billion.

Jim illustrates the magnitude of this crime by comparing this $150 billion from trafficking to the annual amount of money raised by our favorite sports.

• The National Football League is the most popular sport franchise in America and its 32 teams generated $15 billion of income in 2019.
• The 30 teams in the National Basketball Association generated $10 billion.
• Soccer (FIFA) generated $5.77 billion in 2022.
• Major League Baseball generated $5.09 billion in 2021.
• The National Hockey League also generated $5.09 billion.
• The total amount from all these sports is less than $42 billion. This is not even 1/3 the amount made by criminals from human trafficking.
• Follow the money! No wonder organized crime is involved in human trafficking!

Sound of Freedom is based on the life of Tim Ballard. Tim is a former CIA agent and Department of Homeland Security staffer who founded Operation Underground Railroad in 2013. This is a non-profit organization designed to stop human trafficking. O.U.R. also provides medical and psychological services, education, and vocational opportunities to survivors. In 2021, O.U.R. provided aftercare in 30 countries. One example involves a Wisconsin woman who was stolen from her parents in Romania and eventually adopted by a couple in Wisconsin. In February 2020, O.U.R. paid for her trip to Italy, where her birth family now lives. This woman was lucky. Millions more are like a 13 year old girl (a pseudonym) who was enslaved by Eddie (also a pseudonym). He not only abused her sexually but sold her into prostitution. Fortunately Special Agent Keith Owens from Grand Prairie, Texas arrested Eddie and on May 29, 2015 he was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Millions more are never heard from again but live and die in obscurity as human slaves.

Our open borders make the U.S. a major player in human trafficking. In 2021 122,000 unaccompanied minors entered the U.S. through our southern border. In 2022 the number reached an all time high of 130,000. Robin Dunn Marcos, director of the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program, admitted recently to the House Oversight Committee that our government has lost contact with 85,000 of these unaccompanied migrant children. Such children are a gold mine for the Mexican drug cartels. Their biggest moneymaker is a toll fee, or “piso,” that the cartels force migrants to pay to continue traveling. Some children are kidnapped and held for ransom, while others are compelled to cultivate cartel marijuana or poppy fields. Still others are compelled to act as “mules” to smuggle drugs and earn money to pay for their passage across the U.S. border. Mexican drug cartels issue colorful wristbands to identify migrants who have paid for their passage.

Sadly, most politicians and reporters look the other way. Jeffrey Epstein is a prime example. This evil billionaire pedophile had a 70 acre Island in the Caribbean where he had sexual relations with girls as young as 11. The locals called it “Pedophile Island.” One young victim tried to escape by

swimming through shark infested waters to the near by island of St. Thomas. Epstein apparently made no attempt to hide his travels with young girls. One of his jets, a Boing 727, was known as the Lolita Express. It landed regularly at the airstrip in St. Thomas and sat in plain sight of a central highway, and a nearby parking lot. The University of the Virgin Islands was also near by with a complete view of the plane and passengers. When he was “home” Epstein’s plane was always parked right in front of the control tower. As you know, Epstein was finally arrested and “apparently” committed suicide in prison on August 10 2019. Some of the most famous people in the world visited “Pedophile Island.”

In 1852 Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote the novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Her words exposed the evils of slavery and played an important role in bringing about freedom. Perhaps Jim Caviezel and those working with him will do the same for human trafficking. It is the elephant in the room which everyone knows is there but most conveniently ignore. Both Caviezel and producer Eduardo Verástegui told OSV News that the film has been a labor of both faith and love for the past eight years.

Verástegui said as producer, that he he was especially protective of how the child actors were treated on set. “They never knew what this film was about,” he said. “How can you explain what child pornography is to actors that are 5, 6 years old? The parents were there, and Alejandro (Monteverde) was literally protecting the integrity and the innocence of the children on set with their parents. He had that ability to tell them different stories to bring the emotions and the tears. In the editing, you see the real deal, but on set, they never knew the reality. Ballard himself was impressed by the film’s accuracy and veracity, said Verástegui.

On July 21, 2021 Susan Duclos opined in The All News Pipeline - The Full-Scale War Upon America's Children Kicked Into Overdrive As The Mainstream Media Defends First-Grade School Children Being Taught 'Pornography Literacy' Classes. She continues: “Remember back when you were in first grade, where finger painting, art classes, math, and English were what were taught to children? Well, those days are over. We have previously discussed the California educational system, and the sex-related curriculum, and "gender identity" lessons for children as young as kindergarteners, and now we see New York Schools are causing parental outrage by teaching first graders "Pornography literacy," including "masturbation" videos." Sadly, to oppose this “grooming” is to be “blacklisted” and labeled as a “book burner” and a “hater”.

Obviously Jim Caviezel agrees with Jesus who showed his disciples a little child and said: “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Matt. 18:5-6)
