Dearest grandchild,

Todays’s letter will be about “truth”. We have pointed out before that Oxford Dictionaries declared “post truth” as their 2016 word of the year. And also Oxford Dictionaries' Casper Grathwohl said post-truth could become "one of the defining words of our time". Sadly millions have accepted the lie that truth is whatever you want it to be. Jesus, as you know, spoke the truth but was convicted on the testimony of false witnesses (Matt. 26:59-61). There is obviously a difference between the truth and a lie. Paul loved the Galatians like a mother loves her children but lamented “Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16) As you read this letter please do not consider me an enemy because I tell you the truth!

One of the most popular lies of our present generation is that your gender is fluid and can be anything you want it to be. Chris Drew (PhD), listed 81 types of genders and gender identities on Feb. 3, 2023. In our “post truth” world, however, his list will be constantly changing. “Truth” is now whatever you want it to be. Believing that your gender is whatever you want it to be has consequences. It allows average male athletes to excel in competition with females and deny women the scholarships they deserve. It also has the potential to eliminate the crime of voyeurism. Voyeurism is now a crime and Penal Code Section 647(i) makes it "unlawful for a person to linger, loiter, prowl, or wander into another's property and peek in the window or door of an inhabited building or structure without any visible or lawful business with the owner or occupant.” Now such a law is rendered obsolete because a voyeuristic man doesn’t need to peek into a bedroom window, he can merely identify as a woman and legally walk into a woman’s bathroom.

When Chloe was 12 years old, she decided she was transgender. At 13, she “came out” to her parents. That same year, she was put on puberty blockers and prescribed testosterone. At 15, she underwent a double mastectomy. Less than a year later, she realized she’d made a mistake. All of this happened before she was old enough to get a driver’s license. Now, at age 17, she realizes she believed a lie and will struggle the rest of her life with the irreversible medical consequences of her decision.

In an e-mail dated May 6, 2023 by Matt Staver of Liberty Counsel tells the sad story of another woman named Chloe. Staver wrote: “Chloe Jennings-White believes she was born in the wrong body. Despite being physically healthy, the 58-year-old Cambridge University-educated research scientist at the University of Utah “identifies” as a paraplegic. And now she wants doctors to sever her spinal cord so she can live as her “authentic self.” Meanwhile, three North Carolina Universities now encourage children as young as two years old to begin “transitioning” to the “opposite sex,” preparing the toddlers for ‘sex-change surgery’ later in life...”

Staver continues: “As a child, Chloe was very close to her aunt who became paralyzed in a tragic bike accident. By age four, Chloe decided she wanted leg braces and a wheelchair just like her aunt. “I wanted them too,” Chloe says. “I wondered why I wasn't born needing them and felt something was wrong with me because I didn't have them.” At age nine, Chloe tried riding her bike off an elevated wall in the hope that she would break her back. As an adult, Chloe purposefully snow-skis on the most dangerous runs hoping to injure her legs and fantasizes about being in a debilitating car accident, all to “affirm” her mental illness. Believing you are a disabled person inhabiting an abled body is a mental disorder called apotemnophilia. No less bizarre and abnormal is the transgender myth that one can change their “gender.” It is child abuse to encourage this insanity and it must stop!

Remember the old adage “Follow the money”. Hormone therapy can cost from $25 - $200 per month. Some transgenders will be on these drugs the rest of their lives and the income for the “drug dealers” is all legal. Transgender surgery costs run from: vaginoplasty: $10,000-$30,000: metoidioplasty: $6,000-$30,000: phalloplasty: $20,000-$50,000, or even as high as $150,000. The U.S. sex reassignment surgery market report indicates that this new business produced $1.9 billion in 2021 with great prospects for more income in the future.

Hippocrates was a Greek physician born in 460 B.C. He is known as the “Father of Medicine.” In those primitive days the “medicine man” was often available to the highest bidder. You might go to the medicine man to get well without knowing that your enemy got there first and paid him to give you poison. Hippocrates produced an oath that made the medical doctor one of the most trusted men in the entire community. Vishal India and M.S. Radhika point out in the Indian Journal of Psychiatry, however, that the Hippocratic oath is losing relevance in today’s world. They point out that “Physicians are no more healers, and healing is no longer an art, but it is just a service rendered. Medicine, a once noble and holy profession, has been defined as ‘services rendered’ under the Consumer Protection Act.”

Dr. Bernard Nathanson, was an obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in Manhattan. After abortion was legalized in New York in 1970, he became the director of the Center for Reproductive and Sexual Health, which he often called “the largest abortion clinic in the Western world.” Dr. Nathanson presided over 60,000 abortions. When he became a Christian, however, he became an outspoken opponent of abortion. In 1985 he helped produce a 28 minute documentary called The Silent Scream. He later wrote a book titled: “The Hand of God: A Journey from Death to Life by the Abortion Doctor Who Changed His Mind” (Regnery Publishing, 1996).

Perhaps some day the “doctors” who castrate little boys and remove the breasts of teen age girls will also come to Christ and stop mutilating our precious and innocent children.
