Dearest grandchild,

As you know, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the Roe v. Wade decision on June 24, 2022. Today’s letter will attempt to provide context to that decision. Not only was the original decision based upon a foundation of lies, sadly it also had a racial component designed to eliminate minorities.

Let’s begin with the infamous Dred Scott decision that legalized slavery. On March 6, 1857 the U. S. Supreme Court ruled in a 7-2 decision that Dred Scott, a slave who resided in a free state where slavery was prohibited, was not entitled to freedom. The court ruled that African Americans were not and could never be citizens of the United States. They further ruled that the Missouri Compromise (1820) which declared free all territories west of Missouri and north of latitude 36°30′, was unconstitutional. This egregious miscarriage of justice added fuel to the flames of civil war which began in April 1861. Racial prejudice, of course, was an integral part of the Dred Scott decision.

After the Civil War, the 13th Amendment and 14th Amendment effectively overturned the Dred Scott decision. The Thirteenth Amendment states - “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” The Fourteenth Amendment states in part - “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Next let us consider the racial German laws that made the holocaust legal. Between 1933 and 1945, Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party carried out a deliberate and calculated legal attack on the Jews of Europe. This resulted in legally killing six million Jewish men, women, and children by the time the war ended in 1945. Race, of course, was an integral part of this decision too. Hitler learned about racial superiority from Charles Darwin who propagated the theory that superior species outperform and outlive inferior ones. Darwin was one of the most ardent racist and eugenicist of his day.

This twisted perversion of German law began when Hitler came to power in January 1933. It started with the Reichstag Fire Decree and Arrests Without Warrants in Feb. 28, 1933. Then came the Enabling Act – Mar. 24, 1933. Death Penalty – Mar. 29, 1933. Laws preventing new parties – July 14, 1933. Loyalty Oaths – Aug. 20, 1934, Etc. It is obvious that German law makers had an agenda.

Some of the most significant laws legalizing the holocaust were the Nuremberg Race Laws passed on Sept. 15, 1935. These laws were designed to protect the racial theories underpinning Nazi ideology. Hitler was determined to make Germans into a “super race”. By German law, any people deemed “inferior” were to be eliminated. Sadly, this included Jews, Gypsies, handicapped, Etc. The court had to be careful how Jews were defined, however, as Hitler was illegitimate. Hitler had the constant fear that someone would discover who his father was and find that he had Jewish blood.

There was, of course, no scientific basis for determining who was a Jew. By German law, Grandparents born into a Jewish community passed their Jewish blood to all of their descendants. This legal definition included individuals who had no religious or cultural contact with a Jewish community. By law, these “Jews” could not become German citizens. Even those who had never practiced the Jewish faith, or who had converted to Christianity, were still considered as Jews. Those known as “Mischlinge” (Mixed-race) also had their legal standing curtailed by legislation.

Now, with this background let us consider Roe v. Wade. On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court in a 7–2 decision made abortion legal based on a woman’s “right to privacy”. The Nation Right to Life Committee states that since 1973 63,459,781 legal abortions have been reported. Sadly, all abortions are not reported. Planned Parenthood is the leading abortion provider in the U.S. and as of 2020 was responsible for more than 8.6 million abortions. CNSNews.com notes that – “Although black Americans comprise 13.4% of the U.S. population, they accounted for 36.0% of the abortions in 2015”. This reveals the racial agenda of Planned Parenthood. In the year 1919 – 1920 they reported an income of $1.6 billion. This reveals their financial agenda.

Life Issues Institute, based on statistics in 2012, states that 79% of Planned Parenthood abortion facilities are within walking distance of minority neighborhoods. Regarding 25 new mega-centers they report: “Our research revealed that an alarming 88 percent (22 of 25) target women of color. Disturbingly, 80 percent target black communities, 56 percent target Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods and 80 percent target one or more colleges. In total, 96 percent (24 of 25) of the mega-centers target women of color, college women, or both.” Planned Parenthood obviously has a racial agenda.

Margaret Sanger, one of the original founders of Planned Parenthood, admired Hitler’s eugenics program. Like Hitler, she wanted to improve the human race. In her mind this involved eliminating blacks whom she considered as “human weeds”. Therefore on June 25, 1939 she introduced the “Negro Project”. Even though this program was designed to eliminate the black race, she deceived black ministers into promoting it. Historian George Grant wrote: “the program’s genocidal intentions were carefully camouflaged beneath several layers of condescending social service rhetoric and organizational expertise. Like the citizens of Hamelin — lured into captivity by the sweet serenades of the Pied Piper — all too many African Americans all across the country happily fell into step behind Margaret and the Eugenic racists she had placed on her Negro Advisory Council.”

As you know, Jesus loves little children. Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Lk. 18:16). As the song says: “Red and yellow, black and white, they are all precious in His sight”. In Christ all racial and social differences are eliminated and Christians love everybody, even their enemies. In fact, all men will know that we are His disciples because we love one another (Jn. 13:35). It is a heinous crime to murder unborn babies as there is no living creature on earth more innocent that they are!

Reversing Roe v. Wade, of course, does not eliminate abortion, but it is certainly a step in the right direction.
