Dearest grandchild,

Today’s letter will deal with the sad story of Alfie Evans. Alfie was born May 9, 2016. He was a beautiful boy but suffered from a degenerative brain disease. He died one month before his second birthday. After an extended stay in the hospital his doctors decided he was terminally ill and refused any more treatments. His parents had no say in the matter. When the hospital removed all life support systems, however, Alfie didn’t die. This created a PR problem for the hospital. Five days later, when the father was out of the room, a nurse entered the room and gave Alfie four injections. He died two hours later at 2:30 a.m., April 28, 2018. The suspicion is that he had been “euthanized”. His tragic death lays bare the reality of death panels in socialized medicine. Alfie died in the Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, England. They were so heartless that they even denied Alfie the privilege of dying at home. As his brave struggle made the news the Italian government granted him citizenship and offered to fly him to Italy for treatment. There would be no charge for this service. Even with a helicopter waiting outside, however, this generous request was denied. It seems that the hospital decided that Alfie ought to die and no one on earth had the power to stop them. They had decided that Alfie’s life was not worth living, and had the necessary medications to make it happen. The hospital had an “end of life care plan” for little Alfie which included Midazolam and Fentanuyl. The side affects of these drugs is respiratory depression. Tom Evans called it an “execution plan” for his son.

The problem of doctors killing patients dates back before the time of Christ. In those primitive days the local medicine man could not be trusted. He was both a healer and a killer depending upon who paid him the most. Should you be sick and go to him for help there was always the fear that your enemies reached him before you did. This being the case the “medicine” he sold you to make you well might actually be a poison to take your life. This is when Hippocrates wrote an oath that revolutionized the medical world. Hippocrates was a pagan who lived four centuries before Christ, yet he is known as the “Father of modern medicine”. Hippocrates saw the need of insuring the integrity of medical practitioners, hence the Hippocratic Oath. Before practicing medicine doctors were compelled to promise to the “gods” that they would “do no harm”, be honest, and not kill their patients. They also promised not to administer poison or perform an abortion. Further they were to live pure and holy lives and maintain the integrity of their profession. They also promised that “into whatsoever houses I enter, I will enter to help the sick, and I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm, especially from abusing the bodies of man or woman, bond or free. And whatsoever I shall see or hear in the course of my profession, as well as outside my profession in by intercourse with me, if it be what should not be published abroad, I will never divulge holding such things to be holy secrets.”

Before 1933, every German doctor took the Hippocratic Oath. That Oath required that a doctor's first duty was to his patient. The Nazis, however, replaced the Hippocratic Oath with the Gesundheit, which was an oath to the health of the Nazi state. Thus a German doctor's first duty was no longer to the patient but to the government. This opened the door for doctors to kill people by the millions. In search of the super race people deemed defective were eliminated. This included crippled children, the mentally retarded, gypsies and Jews, and anyone else the state deemed inferior.

The infamous Dr. Joseph Mengele was known as the “Angel of death”. This heartless monster would lure children into his van and take them to his hospital for experiments. There experimental surgeries were performed on the children, often without anesthesia. Dr. Mengele took delight in torture and was responsible for murdering millions.

Today, many modern doctors also feel that the Hippocratic Oath is also out of date. The fact that nobody believes in the pagan gods of Hippocrates provides an easy escape from the his “out dated morals” Thus the modernized version of the oath leaves room for abortions and physician assisted suicide. According to the World Health Organization there are an estimated 40-50 million abortions in the world every year. This computes to approximately 125,000 abortions per day. In the U.S., 40% of pregnancies end in abortion which totals to some 3,000 every day.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, admired Hitler’s eugenics program and urged that it be adopted in the U.S. In 1938 she wrote: “In animal industry, the poor stock is not allowed to breed. In gardens, the weeds are kept down”. Thus she concluded that we needed to learn from the Nazis and get rid of “human weeds”. It is not by accident that Planned Parenthood targets minority communities with their abortions clinics.

Please pray for the rights of patients and parents to not be taken away by government. Please also pray for doctors and all others who work in the health care community, that patients will be their priority and not the government!
