THE EXPLANATION Some unusual discoveries have been made in Siberia. Here are some of many quotes easily

available on the internet.

Josh Davis reported Oct. 26, 2015: “In remote and icy Siberia, bodies of long extinct ancient animals are often found preserved within the thick permafrost, from woolly mammoths to ancient horses. These carcasses have been so well preserved, that some reports suggest that the meat is often fresh. The Siberian Times reports the ‘sensational’ discovery of two almost perfectly preserved cave lion cubs.” Frozen prehistoric horse discovered in Siberia: “A group of scientists in Siberia has managed to rescue the intact remains of a prehistoric horse. The remains belong to the Lena species (Equus lenensis), a wild horse similar to the Przewalski’s horse that lived during the Paleolithic period, and died around 30,000 to 40,000 years ago.” Nicholas Hellen reports that scientists have discovered a prehistoric zoo in Siberian ice. The discovery includes the woolly rhino, steppe lions, giant deer, foxes and hardy breeds of horses. Woolly mammoths, which look similar to elephants, died out thousands of years ago. Russian scientists, however, have discovered a 50 — 60 year old female mammoth on the Lyakkhovskyt Islands with “flowing blood”. John D. Morris Phd. states: “We've all heard the stories of how ‘millions of frozen mammoths are found preserved in Siberia, frozen so quickly their flesh could still be eaten today, complete with sub-tropical vegetation in their mouths.’ Temperatures of two hundred degrees below zero are needed to quick-freeze an animal of such large bulk... .” Etc. How can we explain this?

THE FLOOD The flood mentioned in the book of Genesis may well be the explanation for these frozen

animals (See Genesis chapters 6 — 9). Please consider:

These animals did not die of old age. They died suddenly and their carcasses were frozen so quickly that they did not decay.

The Bible may provide the best explanation of how this came to be.

On the second day of creation God created an “expanse” to separate the waters under the expanse from the waters above it. God called the expanse “sky” (Gen. 1:6-8). Huge amounts of water above the sky would filter out deadly radiation enabling man to live to be hundreds of years old. It would further create a greenhouse effect that would cause the earth to be universally temperate.

It did not rain before the flood. There went up a mist that watered the ground (Gen. 2:6).

When God caused it to rain the greenhouse canopy disappeared and the equator became very hot and the poles became very cold. This could easily explain how animals in Siberia could be quick frozen.

Before the flood the earth was universally temperate and there were no seasons. After the flood: “As long as the earth endures seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease” (Gen. 8:22).

After the flood the atmosphere, for the first time, produced a rainbow (Gen. 9:13).

After the flood grape juice would ferment quickly and Noah would get drunk (Gen. 9:21). After the flood radiation would be greatly increased and man’s life span would be greatly

decreased. Peter warned that in the “last days” men would deliberately forget the flood (2 Pet. 3:5).

We are in the “last days”. Please don’t forget the flood! It may not only be the explanation for quick frozen animals in Siberia, but other questions of geology and history as well!
